Mt Eden Hockey Club has a relationship with the Cardrona Speights Ale House where we support their venue and they support the club.
Our Club members have now been issued with a 'Green Card' from the Cardrona. Simply show this when you are buying a drink at the Cardrona, the bar staff will take down the number, and for every tap beer and glass wine bought, a small amount of money will generously be provided back to the club from the Cardrona.
Yip, that's right. If you go and have a beer or wine with your mates at the Cardrona, and show your green card, you are helping to fundraise for the club! How brilliant is that?
We would encourage you all to make the most of this arrangement. Consider going for a drink at the Cardrona after your games, or if you are having a team social function consider going for a meal at the Cardrona! It doesn't have to be hockey related either, you could tka efriends who don't play hockey there too, so long as you show your green card!

Its that time of the year when trial dates are being set and planning for the 2012 season is underway.
